Firefox & IE Prompt You To Remember Passwords – Maybe you should say ‘No’

This article is an eye-opener:

In short, it shows how easy it is to retrieve the passwords you let your browser remember for you. Funny that I was prompted to let the browser remember my password as I logged in to make this blog.

  1. Does anyone here use classic ZoneAlarm?
I use ZoneZlarm. I went to some blogger website. Somehow they attack ZoneAlarm, ease some profiles, and damage my harddrive & zonealarm. I check out… Cookie Ad virus.
I was unable to protect small business files.
I was afriad I wouldn’t use Zonealarm again.
If I continue to upgrade zonealarm. Will hackers damage over and over again?
Right now, I’m downloading 15-day trial. Security Suite. I don’t feel protected.
I lost great files too. you know.

  2. Jim, there are proper forums for reporting such problems. Please don’t send complaints to blogs.

  3. I just put your Browser Security on my computer and your feedback system makes my site look questionable, rather than the truth – you cannot properly assess it. I think you could rewrite your assessments to give people a warning without casting a shadow on our sites. YOUR CHOICE OF WORDS DOES US DAMAGE! I’ve turned dozens on to your products over the years. But your poor word use loses me as a customer if it does not change!
