Hi guys,
I would like to translate this infographic (to Brazilian Portuguese) to put on our blog, obviously, with all the credits. Can you give me permission?
Thanks
This information seem slike a great fit for your site. Feel free to use our content.
The list of “Top 20 passwords of all time” that you have there should really be titled “Top 20 passwords used on rockyou.com”. Those popular passwords were taken from the 32 million passwords that were leaked from the rockyou.com website a while ago.
While this does represent a good idea as to what popular passwords are these days, by no means are they the most popular passwords of all time. Especially no. 7, ‘rockyou’, it is obvious that this was high on the list because they were taken from rockyou itself, I highly doubt that ‘rockyou’ is a popular password outside of that website.
Other than that, good info-graphic.
That’s part of the reason Indiana University now requires pass phrases, consisting of at least four chunks of letters separated by spaces or other nonalphabetic characters. Easy to remember, hard to crack.
Good info. I’ve seen some pretty stupid passwords in my day. I’ve never used any of these, it just shows sheer laziness, and lack of critical thought. As for what people are “tweeting”, I couldn’t care less! Twitter is probably the most useless “social’ website in existence. It’s pretty much indecipherable. What can be understood is “tweets” mentioning useless stuff about “celebrities” & “rappers” (who cares in either case?).
