  1. There is no way I ever, not ever, trusted my parents when I was a teenager. There was too much at stake. My health, welfare and sanity were all at stake if my parents had ever had the slightest idea I was not heterosexual. And, had it been there, the Internet would have been my only source of information. I would never, not ever, have trusted them with any user ids or passwords.
