The number of users using Google’s new Google+ social network has climbed to over 10 million with more than 1 billion daily shares. It’s no big shock that cybercriminals–perhaps too easily caught on other social networking platforms such as Facebook–will pick Google+ as a new target. nice picture! privacy is a serious business for every social network. and Google+ seems to have some nice privacy settings.
TOP SECRET! So I see this ad on Craigslist to test a new social media site… Curiosity gets the best of me… and I go in to test it. Wow! Was I in for a shock. If only Facebook new what is coming! While Google+ was rethinking social media and came out with a copy of Fb another team of people was unthinking it. For real. Unthink social media is literally the name. They have been in secret development for over 3 years!!! Kidding you not. This will blow the market open. How did they keep this SECRET? From what I saw it’s about to launch. Facebook and Google are in for a huge surprise.
I actually enjoy Google+ and everything it brings to the table for social networking. I have no issues over privacy.
i wonder if G+ can keep up with Facebook, i am pretty sure that both companies have superbly talented programmers, we all know how Facebook employs it’s security measures, it is certainly great, and for the big G, it has proven it’s capacity, being the best search engine on the web, how will it overcome the best social networking site.
It’s incredible how many of my friends had no idea that, by default, their profiles were set to display almost all of their information publicily. They were of the belief, as was I, that your information would be protected by default at that in order to make it more public, you’d have to alter your options.
It’s getting to almost frightening levels just how much information we freely provide to others online without even knowing it!
