You will see an encryption login screen every time you startup your computer. This login gives you secure access to your encrypted system.
As you edit and add files to your computer, they are automatically encrypted. This is invisible to you and there is nothing for you to manage.

Yes, use your computer as you normally do. The encryption process runs in the background and is invisible to you. You can also log in, log out, and shutdown as needed at any time.

Minimum of 8 characters, using any characters you want. We recommend mixing your characters (upper and lower case, numbers, punctuation), but you are not forced to do so.

The Windows login is easily bypassed. For example, thieves can bypass it by using a USB stick with an operating system. If you decide to keep using the Windows login with ZoneAlarm DataLock, then there will be two logins to access your computer.
