1. I’m missing some features in Zonealarm PRO Antivirus + Firewall for Vista

Due to the different needs and functionality of the Vista operating system, some features and functionality on 2000/XP may differ on Vista.

The following secondary features were removed in Zonealarm PRO Antivirus + Firewall 7.1 to focus on providing a security-specific solution for Vista. Some of these features may be provided in future versions for Vista customers or are currently part of the Vista operating system.

2. My license key is not being accepted by Zonealarm PRO Antivirus + Firewall for Vista.

If you are typing your license key into the product, this could lead to problems. We suggest that you copy and paste the license key.

Be sure to COPY the entire license key (from your emailed invoice or other electronic source), and then PASTE it into the product in the following areas:

Open the ZoneAlarm client and click on the Overview Panel; then click on the Product Info Tab, and click on the Change Lic. key button. Be sure to COPY the entire license key, and then PASTE into just the first field - it will automatically expand to fill all fields. Click at the end of the letters of the first field, and then backspace until all the letters are gone, and then PASTE. Click on the 'Apply' button, and you should get a dialog indicating the key was updated successfully.

OR

If you have recently installed ZoneAlarm, you can do this from the 'I Already Own It' box from the white trial screen when it shows up on boot. Again, simply COPY the entire key, and then PASTE it into just the first field.

ZoneAlarm looks for virus updates immediately after installation and on a daily basis after installation.
