We're sorry the ZoneAlarm Toolbar didn't work for you. Your curent homepage and default search settings are set as ZoneAlarm. If you wish to change these settings, here's how:


Chrome:

To reset your homepage in Chrome, please follow these steps:

  • Go into Tools > Settings (the tools is the buttons on the top right side with three parallel lines)
  • Under the 'On Startup' Click on 'Set Pages'
  • Mouse over ZoneAlarm and click the X button, or type a new link to open at the browser startup.
  • Click OK when finish.

To reset your default Search in Chrome, please follow these steps:

  • Go into Tools > Extensions> Settings (the tools is the buttons on the top right side with three parallel lines)
  • Under the 'Search' Click on 'Manage Search Engines'
  • Move your mouse over the search engine you wish to use and click on 'Make default'
  • Click OK when finished.

To reset your New Tab in Chrome, please follow these steps:

  • Go into Tools> Settings (the tools is the buttons on the top right side with three parallel lines)
  • On the right side Choose 'Extensions'
  • The extensions window opens showing you the installed applications - mouse over Search by ZoneAlarm and click the Trash can icon.


Firefox:

To reset your homepage in Firefox, please follow these steps:

  • Go into Tools > Options
  • Under the 'Home Page' text box on the 'General' tab, enter the URL of the site you would like to use as your homepage,or choose one of the other options
  • Click OK when finish.

To reset your default Search in Firefox, please follow these steps:

  • Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit "Enter"
  • Click the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button
  • Type "keyword.URL" into the search box that appears.
  • Right-click on the "keyword.URL" entry and click "Modify"
  • Enter the search engine you would like to search from the address bar with, or right click and select Reset to return to default settings.

To reset your defualt new tab search in the Firefox, please follow these steps:

  • Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit "Enter"
  • Click the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button
  • Type "keyword.URL" into the search box that appears.
  • Type "browser.newtab.url" into the search box that appears.
  • Right-click on the "browser.newtab.url" entry and click "Modify"
  • Enter the new tab URL you would like to set, or right click and select Reset to return to default settings.

To reset your search bar default in the Firefox, please follow these steps:

  • On the Search Bar box, Click on the logo icon on the right within the search bar.
  • Choose the search provider you wish to set as your default.
  • Type "keyword.URL" into the search box that appears.
  • Type "browser.newtab.url" into the search box that appears.
  • Right-click on the "browser.newtab.url" entry and click "Modify"
  • Enter the new tab URL you would like to set, or right click and select Reset to return to default settings.


Internet Explorer:

To reset your homepage in Internet Explorer, please follow these steps:

  • Go into Tools > Internet Options
  • Type the homepage address you would like to use into the textbox in the homepage section.
  • Click Apply, and then click OK.

To reset your default Search in Internet Explorer, please follow these steps:

  • Go into Tools > Internet Options.
  • Under Search in General Tab, click Settings.
  • Choose the search provider you wish to use and click Close.
  • Click Apply, and then click OK.
