New Virus Detected
I'm running a Dell PC with XP and ZoneAlarm V 7.0.337 for antivirus and firewall. OS and Zonealarm Updates are on & up to date.
Zonealarm recently found and quarantined a virus:
C:\Documents and Settings\Chris\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\57\5889f2f9-4db22962
I rescanned in safe mode; it found another:
C:\Documents and Settings\Chris\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\file\ja va.class-3f551d86-718974a8.class
I couldn't find info on this virus & can't think of anything I've done recently that might have been risky, except maybe that I was playing some online browser-based games (Pacman clones & the like) which probably used Java. My question is: do I need to worry about these, e.g. that they might have downloaded further malware, or should I relax and assume they've been completely dealt with by being found?
Any help very much appreciated.
Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
