Zone Alarm Alerts
I have Vista, and Zone Alarm Secuirty Suite. I often get component and program Alerts. Programs I don't want accessing the internet. These come up at odd times and any keystroke approves the alert and gives the program access to the internet! So for example, I'm typing an email, and an alert comes up, before I can see the alert is up, it's already gone, and it's been approved, because of me using the keyboard! Why are the access alerts approved by any keyboard stroke??? This defeats the purpose, especially for something serious and of a threat! Is there a fix for this??
Operating System:Windows Vista Home Basic
Software Version:7.1 (Vista)
Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
Re: Zone Alarm Alerts
I just started using ZA again after using CFP for a few years.
It's correct. When an ZA alarm steals focus any keystroke will set "allow" as it preselected. For being a program at version 7+ it's quite funny it's this unsecure.
So don't ever type anything on your PC if you don't want to accidentally allow a trojan. It's that's what Checkpoint wanna tell people with this "feature"?
OS: WinXP Pro
ZA Pro 7.0.462.000
