ZoneAlarm blocks CompuServe
Using ZoneAlarm 8.0.065 in Win XP Sp3
I try to connect to CompuServe (a subscription online service) using its own application (4.0.2 unchanged) which connects over my Broadband Internet connection. This application was working fine but not it will not connect unless I restart the PC and shut-down ZoneAlarm before attempting to connect for the first time. (If an attempt to connect is made shutting down ZoneAlarm will not be enough - a restart must be done first). The error message is failure to connect and Technical Support cannot help since the problem is caused by ZoneAlarm. ZoneAlarm doe NOT give the usual panel requesting authority to make a rule. ZoneAlarm is set on Medium Security. Does anyone have any suggestions?
