Sorting of active programs doesn't happen automatically.
I recently started to get tons of "download" activity. Instead of getting some freeware with a 95% chance of spy-ware, I decided to use ZoneAlarm.
So, this is what I did:
1. Program Control tab
2. Programs tab
3. Sort so that every program with the green dot appears on top.
To test this, I opened Notepad. Notepad did not appear in the list! When I resorted, sure enough, Notepad appeared on the top. When I closed Notepad, Notepad still stayed on the top of the list, despite the fact that it was not active.
I discovered by this method that I must manually sort every so often. This is an issue for me, only because I want to watch for a program that downloads when I am idle.
Any work-arounds or recommended freeware that is guaranteed not to have malware?
For any ZoneLab techs that may be reading: any idea when this'll be fixed?
