BSOD with ZA free
I got me a brand new laptop (i7/W7Ultimate/64).
Very fond with it, until I installed ZA free.
Used ZA for a long time, and very satisfied. But with W7 I get BSOD's.
I uninstalled ZA now, and the laptop is running fine again ;(
As far as I can notice on this forum, one may need version 9.1.008 as minimum, but the links from the ZA site bring me to CNET, where I can get 91.007.002.
Am I missing something, or should I get the 008 version somewhere else, or is there another reason for the BSOD's?
(Windows/drivers/bios files are all updated)

1.) Personally, I would not want to Trust the Security of a Very nice Laptop like that with ANY Brand of FREE Security Software..
2.) ZA 9.01.008.000 is the PAID Versions of ZoneAlarm.
ZA 9.1 Now Windows 7 32/64bit compatible
Also compatible with XP 32bit and Vista 32/64bit
ZoneAlarm Extreme Security (9.1.008.000)
ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite (9.1.008.000)
ZoneAlarm Pro (9.1.008.000)
ZoneAlarm Antivirus (9.1.008.000)
the Windows 7 Compatable version of ZA FREE Basic version is V 9.1.007.002 released to the public on Nov 24, 2009. For changes in this version, click here. To download this version, click here.
It looks like your ZA FREE Install may Have been Corrupted durring Download.
The Best Fix for this problem is to Uninstall the Corrupte Version.. and download a fresh copy of Za 9.1 and do a Clean re-install.
The simplest procedure is to :
1.) Download the Latest installer preferably with IE Browser and no Download Manager/accelerator like Get-Right, Livewire, Bit-Torrent) and save it to your Hard drive.
(MultiPlatform, installer will install on Both WinXP SP3 and Vista and Windows7)
2.) Now Install the new update (clean) and Accept the default Setting, Auto-Learn Mode and Choose Trusted Zone, not Internet Zone..
