Delivery Status Notification (Failure)
Sent a single email to 17 recipients from Outlook 2003. All 17 were returned or rejected with the following message:
The following message to '******@hotmail.com' was undeliverable.
The reson for the problem:
5.1.2 - Bad destination host "DNS Hard Error looking up hotmail.com' (MX): NX Domain.
Not all recipients were @hotmail.com. There were a fair range of different ISP.
ZA Advanced Email Protection has the maximum number of recipients set to 50, and number of emails sent to 5 in a time interval of 2 seconds.
Is this likely to be a ZA problem?
Or should I be looking at Outlook? or my wireless router? or Tiscali?
I sent the email again, separately to all 17 recipients. No error messages and have so far receibved two replies.
Re: Delivery Status Notification (Failure)
an easy way to find out of ZA is the problem, is to Shut down Zone Alarm,
UNcheck "Load ZA... at startup" (under Overview - Preferences tab)
ReBoot Computer, then Start Outlook 2003 and try sending simular 17 messages to the same Addresses?
