Zone Alarm reporing SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR from wePresent
I am totally new to Zone Alarm so would appreciate if someone could assist me.
I have an wireless projector apps that allows me to connect to a wifi device to project my presentation to a projector screen. It is called wePresent.
The Zone Alarm that I installed on my notebook shows me the various SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR when I try to run the apps.
Please advice what I should do. How can I know exactly what wePresent is doing. Is it attempting to send information out of my network?
"wePresent WiPG is attempting to communicate with \SystemRoot\System32\smss.exe by opening its process"
Appreciate any help. Thanks!
Re: Zone Alarm reporing SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR from wePresent
Normally that pop-up window should give details of the suspicious behavior. Can you exactly mention which is the suspiscious behavior been flagged (full text of the message and details). It may be by design for that component. If that application has been downloaded from trusted source (eg. producer site, manufacturer CD) you should not be worried. It is just that the central ZA database does not known that specific application and the specifc action performed may be suspicious.
