Updating to Java 7 13 - FIU is trying to communicate
When updating to Java 7 13 I received lots and lots of messages that FIU is try to communicate with a lot of different programs. I wasn't sure what to do, so I denied each alert and there were lots of them.
I know that Java has had security issues and I didn't want to take any chances, especially since I didn't receive this message for updates to older Java versions.
Didn't find that others were having this issue when I did an internet search.
Have others experienced this? Any ideas?

To allow the best answer from other users here you should at least specify the exact version of ZA used and OS. It is also important to copy here the exact messages you received from ZA. These are normally stored in the logs section of the GUI or the in the log subfolder of the programdata folder.
NOTE: As a general rule, if you trust the Java application to be installed on your system you should at least allow it to update as, by denying its update or processes, you have likely broken its installation. Allowing the update of Java is particularly important since the software is very often targeted by malware and running an old or broken version will expose you to infections.
Finally you seem to have very often problems with ZA. It would desirable to assess if other solutions may be needed to replace ZA in order to minimise your troubleshooting time. This will depend on how much time you spend to troubleshoot ZA issues as compared to the normal use of your system for other productive activities.
Hope this helps.
