Default I have a problem running Microsoft Access

    Hi,
When I use Access 2000 and try to set up a 'Forms or Report I find that the table only presents the first field of the database for inclusion.
I have been told that this may be a result of my antivirus, could this be true?
    Thanks

Check the logs of the antivirus and see if it true or not.

Thanks for your response, I have found a number of Microsoft Data Access - .dll files eg msadhr15,msado15,odbc32 which have the question mark tagged to them, could these be my problem? I am not sure what I should be looking for.
    Thanks

Question marks in the logs or in the Program Control components? If this is the area, then juct give these the check mark and reboot and it should be fixed.

Did the av quarentine these items? Or delete these items?

It was the components that i looked in originally, I have now looked at the program logs,
    Access has 2 green ticks
    Server has 2 red X
Send Mail has 2 red X

I rebooted but to no avail.
Would you have any more suggestions?
    Thanks a million

Give those components three green bars. Check the next tab besides the listing and check the components if there are ask instead of green checks.

Set the the Program Control slider is set at Medium.

Open the OSFirewall tab and set the program startups to two flat bars.

I use and program MS Access as a living, and that's a weird one! I don't use ZA at work but it might be something to with the MDAC/ODBC drivers which might require network access if they reference something like an SQL Server.
