Default Version 7 issue with Programs that change the Registry

After upgrading to Version 7, it appears that every program that attempts to modify a registry key (and there are a lot of valid programs that do) will trigger a security alert pop-up.
I've tried all the usual avenues to specify to zonealarm that the programs and/or components are trusted but the only way I could stop the pop-ups was to turn off the OS firewall (not a good thing!)
Has anyone else run into this problem and how did you get around it?
Quickbooks Pro will generate a dozen pop-ups every time it starts, CorelDraw 6 or 7.
Very annoying so I went back to version 6.5 until we can get this straightened out.
I tried clearing the database, uninstalled everything and installed a clean version 7, cleared the typical caches and recyclers but nothing helped.
Is this a hard feature of version 7?

    Thanks,Bob EngimannSoftware Engineering Associates, Inc.

Hi!ZA should remember the settings (i.e. super trusted permission) when you set them under program control, programs. If this is not the case please try a ZA database reset.http://www2.nohold.net/noHoldCust542...rruptlogs.htmlIf the above fails please contact ZA technical support at: www.zonelabs.com/tsformFax
