    Default What about these programs?

Does anyone know what configuration I should have for the following programs?
ZoneAlarm Updating Client - right now for this program I have a ? on Trust Level and then 2 green check and 3 red x's. When I try to change the x's to something else, it tells me it's a bad idea.Generic Host Process for Win32 Services - for this one I have Trust Level 3, then 3 green checks, one red x, and one ?ZoneAlarm Security Suite-1431-English - all ?'s right now
Also, what is the difference in having a Trust Level with 2 green bars and one with 3 green bars? It doesn't seem to change any of the other settings for the program. What exactly do they do? Because if a Trust Level of 3 green bars (Super), gives the program unlimited access, then why bother changing any of the other settings? Shouldn't they all turn to green checks when you do that?
    I'm kind of confused.

    Dear cthmustang:

I have ZAPRO but these custom settings should work for ZAISS. The only difference is ZAPRO has ZoneAlarm Client instead of ZoneAlarm Security Suite-1431-English.

Generic Host Process for Win32 Services

    Trust Level=3 green bars(Super)
    Access-Trusted-green checkmark(Allow)
    Access-Internet-green checkmark(Allow)
    Server-Trusted-green checkmark(Allow)
    Server-Internet-red X(Block)
    Send Mail-red X(Block)

ZoneAlarm Client(for you ZoneAlarm Security Suite...)

    Trust Level-3 green bars(Super)
    Access-Trusted-green checkmark(Allow)
    Access-Internet-blue question mark(Ask)
    Server-Trusted-green checkmark(Allow)
    Server-Internet-blue question mark(Ask)
    Send Mail-blue question mark(Ask)

    ZoneAlarm Updating Client

    Trust Level-3 green bars(Super)
    Access-Trusted-green checkmark(Allow)
    Access-Internet-green checkmark(Allow)
    Server-Trusted-green checkmark(Allow)
    Server-Internet-blue question mark(Ask)
    Send Mail-red X(Block)

According to ZAPRO's help file, Super Trust Level allows programs to perform suspicious actions w/o seeking permission(no alerts given). Trusted Trust Level allows programs to perform suspicious actions w/o seeking permission(no alerts given) but unknown programs must ask for permission. Whatever that means! If they are unknown programs, why give them any permissions. It could mean unknown to the SmartDefense Advisor database.

    Hope this helps.
