    Default OSFirewall Configuration Settings

    Would this be correct configuration in my case?If not what should I change.
    I have SmartDefense Advisor set to Manual as when programs request access and I can set the permission on my own.

    OSFirewall is Enable

    OSFirewall Special System Protection

    * Change Internet Explorer home page...............x (Deny)
    * Change Internet Explorer search page.............x (Deny)
    * Install Activex........................................... .........? (Ask)
    * Change which program load at starup..............? (Ask)
    *Change the hosts file.........................................x (Deny) I already have Lock hosts file in Firewall/Blocked Zone Security.

    Thoughts: every now and then Microsoft has an IE security update; you 'may' need to (remember) to change the permission for IE - 'deny' > to
    " ? ".

    Two cents worth.
    Showing up as a critical update. Yes it is huge 248.3mb! has caused a few problems for some and likely due to the size. There is a stand alone downloader/insaller for it.
    I did system restore.Will wait for more info before reinstalling.
