    Default Controlling program traffic

Sorry all.... the first email went through too soon.
In old versions of Zone Alarm I was able to verify the traffic going through my connection, now I cannot.
My red/green traffic light stays busy, but when I go to Privacy / Site List no programs show the active green circle.
Any ideas how I can see what's keeping my connection so busy???

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Privacy is about sites. Programs are on the Programs tab.
Check \windows\Internet Logs for a ZAlog.txt file - some information might be there.
It could just be local host activity by svchost.
Set alerts to a high level so ZA can tell you about the connections
Look at the Alerts section, select Firewall from the dropdowns to see the same information that should be in the log.
Download TCP/View from Sysinternals or Microsoft to observe live connections
What sort of IP numbers do you see in the Remote Address column?
And/or run cmd, and enter netstat -an to list current connections

If you describe your computer and ZA settings a bit, someone might be able to help.
    Do you have a router?
    Are there other computers connected?
    Scanners or other such things?
In particular, what do you have in the trusted zone in ZA?
What programs are permitted internet access?
What programs are permitted internet server?
