To all who have Zone Alarm Extreme!
If you have a iPhone 3G or 3Gs you will have trouble syncing you music: purchased off iTunes or music that is already on your computer.
The only way I have found to be able to synce everything to your iPhone is to restart you computer and shutdown Zone Alarm Extreme.
This of course will leave you open for attacks. But, you can lanch iTunes and sync any music to your iphone or ipod touch that have the new software version 3.0.
It seams that Zone Alarm conflicts with some itune's processes.Once you do sync your device please restart Zone Alarm.
    Oh!
You can tell Zone Alarm Extreme that any program from itunes is Ok, but it will not allow you to sink your music only. All other items will sync just fine.
Any questions please post them and I will respond back in a timely manner.

    Operating System:Windows Vista Home Premium
    Software Version:7.1 (Vista)
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Extreme Security

This is not just a ZoneAlarm Extreme problem, I am using ZoneAlarm Security Suite and am having the same problem. There must be some program settings in ZoneAlarm that can fix this problem, but I sure can't find them. ZoneAlarm support - please help your customers with this problem. I am using Vista Home Premium 64 - cannot sync my iTunes music with my iPhone 3G 3.0 operating system without shutting down ZoneAlarm.
