    Default ZASS 8 Has Major QA Problems

    The ZASS Installation form has numerous threads listing problems with

    I have experienced many of these problems.
    As a result, I uninstalled version 8 and re-installed

    Obviously, ZASS has major QA problems.
    ZASS should not have released version 8 without thorough testing.
    I suspect that ZASS has reduced their QA staff, moved offshore, or
    has a new Product Manager who is rushing product to market too soon.

    I have been a loyal ZASS customer for many years.
    However, recently, the bug proliferation has reached a peak.
    I hope others protest so ZASS management will think twice before
    releasing buggy software.

    Just installed ZASS 8 and now cannot get back from idle screen. What is best way to get back to ZASS 7.x?

    if you restart, can you not get to the operating system and then uninstall it? all my problems were instantly fixed upon running the uninstaller

    I had the same issues. I installed the latest 80 version, and my CPU stayed at 100% usage and everything locks up on a constant basis.

    I originally upgraded, had the problems. So then I uninstalled it all, then installed fresh, same problem.

    So I went back to 7.0.483.000 and everything is working again.

    So yeah, 8.0 has some problems that needs to be fixed.

    Reverted again on 7.0.483.Too many problems with release 8: mainly everything is slow and sticking and probably there are some bugs already corrected in realease 6.It would be better
    to wait before
    issuing not reliable products: time is the most precious resource we have and it is not the case to waste it !

    I just want to reiterate what other users have been reporting.
    The new release has problems, in my case, the long shutdown was the main issue, caused by a registry lock.
    For anyone having similar problems, I suggest that you add the "/Clean" string at the end of the command string for the Uninstall program, uninstall the new release and re-install the previous release.
    And then wait for the next update.
    I want to also echo the other users comments about the quality.
    I firmly beleive that ZA is a better product than either McAfee or Norton, but it does a great disservice to release products without adequate testing.
    In my case, I spent several hours dealing with this.
