    Default Windows update:KB951847 MSFT.Net Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1

Just wanted to pass this along--microsoft updates did it to me again---this update was supposedly high priority so I tried to install--it failed 3 times. Finally got it to install by unchecking load ZA at start-up-then reboot--go to microsoft update and install--it took over 30 min. to start the install and then another 30 min to install the update!!!! (Don't forget to go back to ZA and check load ZA at start-up) After all this I'm not sure I even needed the update--but it got rid of the annoying security alert that I had an update to install....not sure if ZA had anything to do with the problem--just thought I'd pass it along...

    Not a ZA issue.
M$ issue. Bad patch. They bundled updates to .NET 2 with 3.5 and apparently made a mess of it. Susan Bradley has a blurb about it in Windows Secrets and her blog
    http://msmvps.com/blogs/bradley/Default.aspx
Use find for "On this one just say no"

There's a cleanup for .NET here
    http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archi...30/611355.aspx
perhaps it'll be of some use to somebody.
