I can't find the link I read yesterday, but it might end up being called v9.80 because some websites use flawed software and see two-digit 10 as 1 (that'll hit IE when it reaches 10) because they only look at the first digit. The consequence is the delivered pages will not be correct due to a bad ID. I am not making it up, but my report may not be totally accurate either.

    Edit: Here was one link

See the next Opera 10 browser HERE but it is still a beta.
But this is different from the Unite version (or from the Opera Turbo).

Oldsod, OperaUnite looks like they incorporated something similar to remote assistance? I wonder how safe that'll be.

    Not the same thing.
I have noticed a lot of 'chicken littles' of the internet running around saying the sky is falling because of the Unite.
Kind of humorous - since they never did any background checking before coming out with their articles or editorials.

But there are no open ports needed to use the Unite features and only the files specific in the designated folder are shared files - nothing else on the hard drive is exposed or at risk.
The opera servers are in the middle and are the source.
So like peer to peer but not the same.

See Unite's Primer here for details.

    Thanks, Oldsod.
I saw that, but still wasn't sure considering what you described.
