    Default Cant shop online

    I was having a problem shopping online after using Force Field. I called the help line and after the time it took to tell me to change the settings on privacy to off for cookie control and ad blocking it is working. Hopefully the ridiculous cost of 22.00 I spent to find that out helps everyone else that has this problem.

    Hi!
    there is no cookies or ad-blocking control in ForceField.
    Are you referring to ZAPRO or ZASS or ZAAS?

    I don't understand your response.
    When ForceField comes up, it says that no cookies will be allowed.
    My problem was that even in regular (not ForceField protected window) internet use, I could not use many sites -- including this forum -- because it said that cookies were not allowed.
    I don't want to have no cookie protection.
    However, I just tried removing cookie protection in ZoneAlarm while retaining a medium level in the browser, and the ZoneAlarm site (at least; I haven't tried shopping again) now works.

    Yes I meant turn it off in ZASS I have that as well.

    My ZASS is Vista version. Is this different from XP version?? My ZASS is:

    Hi!probably they messed up with the comparison chart.It was there in aprevious less fancy chart...Trust me, the privacy control is NOT in ZA 7.1 Cheers,Fax

    without All the Details,
    without the ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..

    If you would Describe your Computer Setup/OS and Version of Zone Alarm that you are having a problem with
    and what difficulty you are having, and what Previous Version of ZA and Norton, McAfee or other Security programs that you have installed,

    there are several very knowledgeable Volunteer Participants willing to help you try solving your problem with Zone Alarm..
    Please provide as much detail and error messages etc. that you see on your Computer
    Monitor.

    Note that my symptoms occurred after I downloaded the latest of everything -- and ForceField -- when I renewed my subscriptions (for two home pcs).
    I was unable to use any site which required setting of cookies, even when I was not in the &quot;Private Browser&quot; window provided by ForceField.
    I was unable to shop, or even to gain access to this Forum.
    Changing security settings in IE7 did not help.
    However, going to the Privacy section of this latest version of ZoneAlarm (for XP pcs) and removing cookie protection did the trick, and I am now back in full operation.
    It looks like I have to allow IE7 to provide the cookie security.
    I had no trouble like this before, so I am not sure whether the latest ZoneAlarm or the new ForceField caused the new challenge.
