Default ForceField installs and goes bonkers with error report pop-ups

I installed the current download version of ForceField for a trial.
Before I installed,I exited several "anti-xxxx" programs: AVC Free, StartupMonitor (watches for anychanges in the Registry), and WinPatrol.
After the installation, I got a pop-upabout a possible instability and should an error report be filed?
Checked cancel.Got another pop-up maybe 30 seconds later.
    Checked cancel.
Over and overand over and over.
At one point, there were *twelve* ForceField icons in thesystem tray, coming and going with no relation to me clicking the cancel button.TaskManager wasn't any help, because as soon as I'd kill one ForceField task, there'd be another.
    And another.
The only good thing out of all this was that I did manage to get it uninstalled withno trouble.
    OS is XP Pro SP2.
