I didn't get the trial, I just bought ForceField straight out.
Why doesn't in show up in ZASS protection details?
Is this something that's going be be corrected, and if so, when?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Ok, I think I can give you an answer. From latest review of ZA Suite 2009 = ZA 8.0 - dated 9-4-08.
Here is an excerpt...
"Two big panels identify the security status of the suite's firewall and that of its antivirus and antispyware protection; clicking them brings up a more detailed status report. Sharp-eyed users may observe that there's room for one more panel of the same size. In a few months Check Point will release an updated suite that integrates ZoneAlarm ForceField and adds a number of optional features. ForceField's panel will occupy that slot..."continues
Allrighty, current 8.0 does not recognize FF in the new 'web security' slot; but will offer a new version that will in the next few weeks?/ monthes? (when exactly? can's say/ don't know, ok).
Bottom line: if you have FF - ignore the 'alert/ message' saying there is 'problem, lack of, not secured' - in the "web browser security" panel. Ok.
If you don't have FF; again it is not an 'essential security risk'. (but good to have - optional)
Sidenote - the new "Extreme Suite Beta 8.0.212" you see around the ZA Forum board - is a ZA Suite integrated with ForceField (replacing the old 'privacy control' features with ForceField's 'virtual/ sandboxie' as the browser security. This is a beta product, not a final release version. >
>
NaiveMelody NYC 11-11-08 - Talking In Your Sleep - The Romantics
