Default FTR in Manage Add-ons in IE6

In IE6 I see 'Forcefield Toolbar Registrar' in my Manage Add-ons, in addition to "Forcefield Toolbar'. What is 'Forcefield Toolbar Registrar', why is it there, and do I really need it? I do have a license for it Forcefield.
    Thanks.

Default Re: FTR in Manage Add-ons in IE6/ BHO

'Forcefield Toolbar Registrar' is a BHO - click here > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Browser_Helper_Object
It's normal to have this BHO/ browser helper object
and the FF Toolbar; keep them (also known as "TrustCheckerIEPlugin.dll).
WEW, IE8 is being released, your IE6 is becoming more obsolete and a 'security risk' for yourself. You should really make some considerations to upgrade to IE8 or at the very least IE7; Microsoft may slowly diminish support for IE6 (security fixes/ patches) as time goes on.
