    Default Camtasia Studio Recorder

I found that this program and a similar one could not record from Firefox or IE, although other browsers were fine. After much playing around with drivers, etc, I finally discovered that ForceField prevents screen capture. I turned it off, and the problem was solved.

I'm not sure if this should be classed as a bug or an unavoidable restriction.

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm ForceField

Thanks for that info. I've changed the setting and tested it, and I'm pleased to say it works.

Hi!glad to hear it worked. Thank you for taking the time to report back.ForceField is quite aggressive with any tool that tries to record keys or screen, this is by design. The change in the settings makes it less paranoid and still ensure you are protected when most useful, ie. when banking, shopping and in SSL sessions.Cheers,Fax
