I was having problems with bogus error messages re my email address. I finally found out that a setting in ZA was preventing my email address from being sent. Of course if a site web form does not receive an email address to validate it cannot validate your email.

But, instead of the web form saying they did not *receive* an email address to validate, they reported words to the effect
your email address is not valid
    or
you must supply a valid email address
    . Totally misleading.

In order to register for this forum, I had to shut ZA off.

Check your Identity Protection setting. Turn it off and see what happens.

    Good luck,

    I'm having similiar problems.
When I go to sites like some software company's site, I don't have any issues.
When I go to a site like PC Mag, PC World, Yahoo, etc,
browser and all programs freeze for
about 30 to 60 seconds and then release.

But, after the release, the browser still does not access the web site
    unless I
set IE7 to "accept all cookies" and ZASS8 to "accept all cookies, accept all ads, accept all code" ...
then why do I need ZA?
I've been using ZA Pro for several years and was using ZASS7 for about 10 months.
I installed ZASS8 after a reformat, so my system is fairly clean of stuff.
The only possible conflicts would be: Linkscanner Lite, which I used with ZA Pro and ZASS7 with no problems.
The only Windows update that could/should have caused a problem would be Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0.
