    Default Slow log in/out/system shutdown after installing v8

    Hi,

    After upgrading to the latest release, i am having problems of long log in/out times.
    Any ideas please.
    Win xp sp2

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

    I'm also having problems after downloading the latest release earlier this week, the only way I have been able to shut down is by turning the power off. However if I disable ZA before shutting down I can shut down ok. Am awaiting a response from ZA regarding this. Any suggestions appreciated.

    Not only does Zone Alarm V 8.0 make a normal shutdown impossible, but the icon iin the tray does not show when there is internet activity. In addition, when I right click on the icon in the tray, nothing happens. Windows Home XP w/Service Pack 3, Am about to remove and install the previous version.

    Problem now solve for me..hope this one can help
    After i installed ZASS v8 i noticed that my Windows firewall is ON.Try to turn this OFF and then i recommend using diskeeper pro premier 2008..this will help you gain some performance to the top..

    I, too, must unplug the computer in order to shut down/restart.
    I would like a fix for this ASAP, please.

    Add me and my friends to the list of thousands...Running WinXP Home, v7 was fine, v8 doesn't shut down.Fix please!
