Default unable to shop or stay signed in

Hi, Have read all the posts on shopping carts, sounds like there was some unhappiness about it last spring. I installed ZAP today to block something that was hijacking explorer.exe to send spam. That worked, but now I can't shop. Every site I go to, it keeps emptying my shopping cart. Had a bunch of stuff saved in the cart on Amazon, when I added to it, only the new thing was there, all else was gone. If I add another item, the old one disappears. Same thing happened on other sites. Also, at Yahoo groups, every time I want to move to a differnt page, I have to re-sign-in, twice!! What a pain. Is there a resolution for this problem? Otherwise, I'm uninstalling.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)
    Software Version:6.0

It is your Privacy settings in ZAP causing the problem. Likely there are things in 'Cookie Control' that ought not be blocked for those sites. The Privacy advisor can help resolve the issue and allow you to customise that site for your use. You will need to go to the Privacy Panel and click on 'custom' in Cookie Control. Then go to the bottom and enable 'Show Privacy Advisor' click apply then ok.

Next go to the page in question and when the Privacy Advisor alert pops up, click on "Click here for details'' and it should take you to the Site List box where you will see the entry causing the problem. The name of the entry can be found in the "Entry Detail" box at the bottom of the page. Now click on 'options' and turn off the ones that interfer with the page. You may have to try several and then refresh the page until the issue is resolved.
