    Default WebAccess Blocked

    Can someone tell me how to allow the username and password from one site to transfer through to another site. I have a school account and when I try to access a resource, access is blocked. If I shut ZA off I have full access. I believe the authentication from the initial site needs to be passed through to the second site. Does anyone have any ideas if this can be fixed.Dave

    This should not happen with ZA Free. It sounds like you have Private Header blocking turned on with no way to turn it off. The solution will be to reset your ZA darabase. Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

    1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode. {Instructions if needed}
    2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
    3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
    4.Reboot into the normal mode.

    BTW, did you ever use or give the trial version of ZAP a go?
