I'm running Office Outlook 2003 SP2 and have been running 6.5.737 (upgrade from 6.5.722 and 6.0 versions...licensed Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite) For the past several weeks, the Mail Frontier scanning hasn't been taking place.
The icon bar is there, the Mail Buddy COM Add-in is present, checked, and set to load on startup - but I'm not getting any scans of the mail for junk / phishing.
Today, I did a complete clean uninstall of ZA then reinstalled the product. No change. I removed the Add-in - closed Outlook, restarted Outlook, added the Add-in back in, did the close / restart - and am in the same position - the Junk / UnJunk / Configure buttons are there - but no scanning.
I rooted around deeper into the MailFrontier sub-folder in Zone Alarm's folder, and in the Matador_Outlook.log I found a series of entries like this:
2006-9-29 15:47:14:264 Error Failed to open/create ZoneAlarm Phishing Mail with error 80041031
2006-9-29 15:47:14:264 Error InitSession failed to complete.
(Each of the time / date stamps correspond to when I started Outlook up.)
I know the Outlook Junk filter's working, but I would prefer the ZA / MailFrontier one. Out of 4 computers at home all running licensed ZA 6.5.732, I have this challenge only on 1.
Can anyone help me identify the error code and a possible resolution?
