Default Privacy site list cleared itself?

In the past week, the site list in ZA seems to have reset/cleared itself.
i.e., up to last week, I had
over 100 sites in the site list.
I've had to manually add sites I previously added, today I looked at the list and there's only about 20!
I had thought that the site I usually visit had changed isp's or something, but the list has been clearing itself.
Keeping the site list up to date is a pain, going to a site, then having to catch the pop-up to edit the settings (usually to add private headers) so I can actually view the site.
I last did an av/spyware scan on the 14th and both defs and ZA are current.
My pc hasn't crashed in months, so I don't think any cache or ram contents
    were hosed.
Any idea why this would happen?

    A database reset maybe needed:

Boot your computer into the Safe Mode

Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder

Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder

    Clean the Recycle Bin

    Reboot into the normal mode

The Zone Alarm will be cleaned of all previous settings and data and it will appear as when it was first installed

    Best regards.

It's been a few weeks since I replied to this, sorry, but I wanted to see if it stayed fixed.
I followed your suggestions, it seemed to work.
I haven't applied any updates at all since then.
Last time I checked (about 5 days ago) the list it was over a page long.
Today, just the last three entries that I have made are there, the l previous
pages worth of entries are gone!!!!!!!!
What is going on with ZA?
Having to keep entering my preferences as to allowing cookies, headers, etc is getting old.
Along with the privacy advisor keeping popping up, the whole idea of allowing some sites is to keep the advisor from constantly popping up and pulling the cursor off of the current web page.
    What's the permanent fix?
