Default Does the Junk button just move mail to the Junk Mail folder?

If that's all it does, is there any reason to use the button instead of just deleting the mail?

    Excellent Question!
I don't know why they didn't make it
a SUBMIT junkmail button rather than having to use the drop down menu.

Hi!Simple explanation....By adding "spam" via the button you will enreach your "Bayesian message filter" databasethat judge SPAM also by learning from user input...Well, this is why SPAM has moved more from text based to picture based to avoid detection by Bayesian filters. :8}Cheers,Fax

Are you saying that by using the Junk button that I am teaching ZoneAlarm, or are you talking about something else now?

It teaches it but doesn't "report" it unless you use the drop down, right?

Well, in principle is local but consolidated anonymous results (not complete e-mail but a summary) should be sent out to a central database to be included in the "community" filtering...This is the theory... but to be honest I don't really know if this is actually happening, mailfrontier "mantispam" would need to send out datato the central database (not via e-mail).Fax
