Thread: Junk mail filter

    Default Junk mail filter

The junk mail filter has stopped filtering any of the messages received in Outlook Express. I have several addresses in the blocked list but they are not transferred to the junk mail folder. I cannot find any setting other than the one on the Security Suite Control Center to turn this on.

    Any ideas

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
    Software Version:7.0

Yes. It didn't seem to make any difference. I get the ZoneAlarm toolbar but it doesn't seem to do anything. When I first installed it, messages were transferred to the ZoneAlarm Junk Mail folder but that has stopped and I can see any way to get to start that again.

I tried reinstalling and that did not do any good.

I appears that compacting the folders did the trick. I normally compact the folders once or twice a week but I guess I must have gotten lazy. After cleaning up the inbox and compacting, things seem to be back to normal.

I've been struggling with the same problem but no joy.
I've reloaded ZA many times and have tried the enabling/disabling OE but my junk mail filter never returns.
The only difference I've noticed has been the "Advanced" button is no longer greyed out but selecting the enable/disable toggles but the text never says that is't enabled or disabled as with the other fields on that page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Brent
