In Outlook Express I opened the ZoneAlarm Options dialog box and it shows that one person in the "Allowed" people tab sent supposedly 64 emails. This person is someone that I recently met and was wondering where these 64 emails are or if they really exist?
This person uses a hotmail account. I also recently had to do a clean install of Windows XP Pro SP2 and when I reinstalled the Outlook Express and ZoneAlarm with the Junk E-mail protection, I finally noticed this strange count of 64 messages which I never saw after letting ZoneAlarm scan to make the rules for spam mail.
Is there a way to find these messages if they do exist? I'm am positive that this person has NOT sent me that many emails because we just recently started communicating. Could a virus have sent them from my computer to his e-mail account or vice versa? I would really like to try to track this down so I know what happened. Actually, I have never yet have read any messages from this guy's hotmail account reaching me in Outlook Express.
Maybe the way I transfered all the old emails from the old set up to the new one did something strange. But like I said I have never received an email from his hotmail account in OE. The way I transfered all the e-mails was to make plain directories/folders on the D: drive for Inbox, Sent, etc... and then dragged them from the OE to the folder then after the clean install I just dragged them back into OE's appropriate folder in the application.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
