Default Privacy List Added a "Blank" site name - Pls Comment

Any suggestions on this mystery are welcome.
My Zone Sec. Suite added a nameless entry to the Site List on Privacy tab.
It's a first and
just appeared there a few days ago -- the Site Name is blank and it has green checks for cookies.

A few times I've tried blocking all areas of that entry with red x, emptying cache, clearing history of IE browser, restarting my PC.
But when PC restarts and Zone suite reopens, that blank entry shows up again with the green checks.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Thanks for your help.

Trekkie,
Don't know what happened to my first response?????
Have you tried removing the blank entry from the Privacy list?

Right click on the entry ->Remove->yesDoes it come back?
If the above doesn't work, two possibilities for your blank entry:
First, the Zone Alarm database has gotten corrupted.
This can happen with system crashes, and unexpected power outages/shutdowns.
Try resetting the Database.
How to Reset ZASS database:

Be aware by doing this you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.
1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode.
2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
4. Empty the Recycle Bin
5. Reboot into the normal mode.

See if this clears the issue,
Second possibility is malware.
You might want to run a free
online scanner or two to check the health of your computer.
Here are a couple links to free online scanners:

Hope this helps youFindley

Findley - Thanks for your quick reply. Since I
deleted the nameless site entry several times (entry came
about 1 week ago) & it
returns on PC startup, I'll try your other suggestions re database and malware.
Thanks for your thoughts and time.

Default Privacy List Added "Blank" site - Thanks, Findley

Findley,
Hooray - the blank is now gone.

PC did act a bit strange at first, though -- I deleted the two Zone
files
you suggested and on reboot, got a
Windows
"Memory Parity" error (though 9.7 GB of my PC's 12.6 GB are free space).
So I did a few restarts and when my Zone suite opened, that blank site line wasn't there -- and hasn't resurfaced in the two days since it left.
Thanks, again.
