    Default Gmail security compromised

I am running the latest version of Zone Alarm Pro on Windows XP.
Somehow, my contacts list in Gmail was hacked and spam sent to all those people on my contacts list.
How could this happen with Zone Alarm Pro installed ?
I am using all the options except the IM tab - as I don't have IM installed.
Curiously, since I applied the latest updates (about 7 days ago) I get a Zone Alarm dialogue box that pops up several times each hour saying it is checking for virus updates.
Might this be some form of malware disguised as a Zone Alarm application ?
    I have run a full anti-virus scan (took 4.5
hours instead of one) and a spyware scan but nothing found.

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro

ZAPRO does not come with antivirus software only antispyware.
This is not really enough to protect your system.

You should add an antivirus to your setup.

You can try the ZA Suite that comes with antivirus and antispyware but you need to fully remove your current ZAPRO before installing ZoneAlarm Security Suite.
