    Default Email virus scanned notification

Hi,I am new to Zonealarm antivirus, I have used ZonealarmPro for 5 years and just upgraded to the Internet Security Suite and uninstalled AVG free virus checker.
AVG put a note at the bottom of all in and outbound emails stating that the email had been virus checked, I cannot get Zonealarm to do this.
Can anyone Help, I have emailed zonelabs but had no reply.

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:5.x
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro

Hi!unfortunately, there is no such an option in ZASS 7. Please also note that running two antivirus at the same time will create conflicts. The two antivirus will fight for resources and block each other (i.e. less security)Cheers,Fax

Hi,Thanks for the reply, as I mentioned I did uninstall AVG
    before upgrading Zonealarm.
I think I will have to revert to AVG as no emails are being scanned in Incredimail either.

I was happy with ZonealarmPro and AVG anti-virus and wish I had never updated to ZASS, I am having shutdown problems now.
Do only have to turn off the virus checker in ZASS control panel when reinstalling AVG or have to reinstall ZASS totally and decline the virus checker on reinstallation.

Hi!the fact that you do not have a text added to your e-mail does not mean ZASS is not protecting you.All e-mails will be scanned against viruses 'on demand' (when you open them or tehir attachment). So you will be perfectly fine. But you should run ONLY one antivirus at the same time either install ZASS or AVG.Cheers,Fax
