    Default Spam filtering options

I would like to set up the Spam Filter so that it will only allow e-mail from receipients in my allowed list with everything else put in the Junk folder.
Is there some way to configure it to work this way?
I have the message filters all set to block more (all the way to the right) and I still get lots of advertising spam.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

In HELP (upper right corner) find filter then blocking senders. But that's not the whole story. There is a way to tell the mail checker to only permit mail from people who are in your address/contacts list. Unfortunately I don't run ZA suite anymore, so can't tell you the exact steps. There has to be some place on the ZA mail checker menu, perhaps called Options where you can set it so. If I recall, it was possible to set in ZASS v6 both inside ZA client as well as in Outlook on the ZA menu item.
Also Outlook, and perhaps Outlook-express, have that feature built in.

I'm sorry, but you append did not help.
I am using Zone Alarm version 7 and Outlook Express.
First, in the help file, blocking senders does not appear.
    I could
    fine nothing in the
help section on filtering junk email that talks about allowing only from the allowed sender list.
I also have scanned the settings/options several times and cannot find anything that says allow email only from receipients in my allowed list.
I continue to get much junk email that is not detected by zone alarm.
If zone alarm had this feature in a previous release, they should not have taken it out.

Guru Slyfox provided this link for a fix
Did you miss it in the sticky posts?

The link you provided is for finding the junk mail filter settings.
I have found the settings but cannot find a setting that can be used to cause the spam filter to treat all mail as junk unless the sender is in the allowed sender list.
    What is a sticky post?

    I'm sorry to hear that.
There was a setting for "whitelisting", perhaps you can find that in v7.
I haven't used ZASS version 7. Perhaps it's not there.
Sticky posts, aka pinned posts or threads are at the top of every forum section. So for this section if you go to the opening page
there is a orange/yellow area where stickies are. They usually contain great advice worth reading.
