    Default Challenged email

    Using Outlook Express 6.
I have set the Challenge option to "High"
and have sent a test message and received a reply "ZoneAlarm Security Suite test message!
Since you received this email, your settings are correct."
However, still receive same amount of Junk Mail as before and there is no Mail placed in the Challenged Folder.
Obviously, I have not set the program up to work.
or do not understand how the "Challenged" email option works.

    Thanks

Hi!I would personally never use challanging feature in ZA antispam. It will actually confirm to the spammers that your e-mail account is active and working and send to you even more spam.Cheers,Fax

    I agree with Guru Fax..

A.) if you want less Junk mail..

1.) Don't use the Challenge option, This feature is Only used now for Businesses and some Web-Sites to confirm registrations..The Challenge option will Only Confirm that your Email Address is a Valid Email Address and your Email Address will be Sold to 100's of other SPAMMERS.. and Mailing list..

2.) Never Click on the Un-Subscribe or Remove my Email Address link at the bottom of most Junk mail,This too Confirms that your Email Address is a valid Address and will allow the Spammer to make money sailing your Email address to other Spammers

3.) Never click on any Attachment to any Email, even from somebody you know, unless you know that they were going to send you an attachment, as this could infect your computer with Virus, Spyware and Keyloggers, and you actions can by-pass the protection ZoneAlarm in there for..

4.) never mouse over or click on any POP-up on web pages for the same reason..

5.) never Respond to any Offer for Free Stuff or Notices that you won something? like a Free Laptop or Computer or Software..
This is a Scam to get your Email Address as well and other Identity Theft information..
