Thread: Clicking on PRIVACY ADVISOR Pop-up... makes my CPU go faster.

Default Clicking on PRIVACY ADVISOR Pop-up... makes my CPU go faster.

I've noticed this for a few years, since I've started using ZA.

Sometimes after I would download/install/configure the latest ZA, I would use my Mozilla/IE/whathaveyou browser and the webpages load slowly. Not until I click the Privacy Advisor at the bottom corner, the Privacy Advisor flash like poker cards ... and the browser would finally download the webpages faster, or in fact, actually get to it.

If I don't click on the Privacy Advisor, not only does the browser work slower, but the Privacy Sites aren't listed as quickly.

Then there are other times when I download/install/configure the next version of ZA, I don't have this problem at all.

Can anyone clue me in on why this happens? (I'm waiting in anticipation for the next version where I don't have to deal with this going on.)

    Operating System:
    Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:
    7.0
    Product Name:
    ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
