I have ZoneAlarm Security Suite v. 8.0.059.000 (licensed version) and I use Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.19 as my e-mail software.

In the last few days, I have been unable to send e-mails --incoming e-mails are received without any problem!-- and I get the following errors. I know that this is a ZoneAlarm issue because I am able to send e-mails if I shut down ZoneAlarm... I have never had such a problem before. My ISP claims that they have nothing to do with this problem and they do not support SSL...

SERVER CERTIFICATE EXPIRED
"localhost" is a site that uses a certificate to encrypt
data during transmission, but its certificate expired on
1/10/2009 5:34PM.

I also get the following error message:

SEND MESSAGE ERROR
The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP
server mail.waymark.net failed. The server may be unavailable
or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your
SMTP server setting is correct and try again, or else
contact your network administrator.

Does anyone have any suggestions? (Other than to shut down ZoneAlarm every time that I want to send an email!!)

Thanks.
