Default I'm new to the forum and also ZA. The computer is runnin...

I'm new to the forum and also ZA.
The computer is running XP pro.
The Zone Alarm is Internet Security Suite.
I can no longer bid or "watch" an item on Ebay.
What settings do I have too strict?
I can go to anywhere I've gone before installing this.
I only have 3rd party cookies blocked.Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Thanks for the reply.
Ad blocking and mobile control are off.
The only cookies blocked are 3rd party.
    Doesn't work.
I went into the programs section and customized e-bay with all check marks and trust level with 3 bars.
    Still no good.
I'll try not blocking 3rd party cookies but I hate to leave it that way.
It's just something I heard once.
I don't really know what 3rd party cookies are.Not computer savy at all.

You will need to allow private headers (referer) and thr various scripts and javascripts and web bugs.

Set the Privacy Advisor on to help see what is blocked and by trial and error process, the needed content will be traced.
But always clean out the browser cache to help reload the newer and needed files after adjusting the ZA's Privacy.

Third party cookies are often needed for certain sensitive sites such as logins/forums/sign in to accounts/we email/etc.....described here:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Http_co...-party_cookies

Also often certain needed sites can be missed and these should be entered into the Privacy list manually, if this happens.

Usually when I used the Privacy, I installed the ZA, then allowed all of the items in the Privacy such as logins/accounts/forums/web email/sesnsitive sites/etc.
Once the Privacy list was completed with these needed and special sites, it was only then I set the Privacy to maximum blocking to enhance privacy and web security.
I found this approach much simpler and easier in the long run, even though it required several days to fill the allowed sites before going to the riskier sites or sites that should have content blocked off.

    Best regards.
