I'm trying to slim down the number of unnecessary background processes running on Windows, and am condsidering disabling mantispm.exe. From what I can tell, this is only required if you use Outlook/Outlook Express, which I very rarely use. My email providers offer built in spam protection, too, so even if I do access them via Outlook, I'm not sure I really need another layer of spam protection. However, I've struggled to find info on this process (it took me a long time to even confirm that this was part of ZA, since all of the info on the internet refers to it as being part of "MailFrontier", not ZA) so I'm not sure if there would be any problem with disabling it. If I do want to disable it, what is the best way to go about doing so? Should I just disable "junk e-mail filter" under ZoneAlarm's control centre?
