Open the Program files and look for a new folder or something related to the winantivirus or it could be sitting right on the HDD itself.
Use the show hidden files and folder in the explorer to see all.

Record the items of the folder(s) as per their exact names and times/dates/ maker in the properties of each component.

Open the Add and Remove Programs in the Control Panel and see if it is listed. Uninsatll if found.

Reboot and download the freeware CCleaner and give it sevral runs for a few days with the maximum removal settings>

Go online and do the following scans using the IE7 or IE6, since they use activeX components:

    http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/

    http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

Download and install and update and run these freeware scanners:

    http://www.superantispyware.com/

    http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/

Go back to the original list made of the components and use the search in the explorer to find and delete these (use all enabled in the More Advance Options) and do the same for the Find of the registry editor. Delete any mention of those components registry keys.

    maybe this helps.
