I have researched 2 possible ways of removing this lil' nasty:

There is the manual method. This will take a little time and a little reading,
but in the end it may prove to be the best way. The author assures the reader
that it is much easier if you just follow the steps. Clik the link below:

The second method is much easier, but I cannot verify that it will work. However, I have seen
messages from people who say that it does.
Download ADAWARE, (it is free), install it, then check for updates, then allow it to scan your system.
It will find all the instances of adware on your system and then give you the option to remove/quarantine
    the item.

    Hope this helps.

You can go to '' -
. "On this page..." table of contents click on - If Your PC is Infested w/Spyware... - which will provide you with a list of 'free' and 'trustworthy' anti-spyware scanners you can freely download - recommended - AVG Anti-spyware, SuperAntispyware, and Ad-aware Personal Edition = these software are unobtrusive and usually play well with each other /no conflicts. You can also use some of the on-line anti-virus scanners. Visit a spyware removal forum if you need more assistance. Read the rest of this site to learn and discover better methods of protecting your pc. By the way how do you know you got 180 Search Assistance? What scan detected it? Or didn't? :8}NaiveMelody NYC 3-8-07~11:28pm e.s.t. - Kodachrome - Paul Simon

180 Search and 180 Solutions and Zango and Coast are all the one and the same. The search engine, the active-X component and the toolbar and the BHO are all related. These can be manually removed from the IE and Windows manually.

Do the uninstall in the Add and Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

Uninstall the add-ons in the Tools of the IE and remember the ID number and use that in the Find of the Registry and use the regedit to locate any addition files (by location) and other reg keys.

Uninstall any related components in the C\WINDOWS\Downloaded Programs Files and again use the properties to find additional ID and use in the reg edit find engine.

Check the Doc's and Settings plus the Program Files and the C Drive itself for addional files/folders- use the show hidden folders in the Folder Options of the Control panel to do so.

That is a general cleanup. The actual active-X, BHO and additional toolbars are listed in the Registry in specific places.

Additioally, look in the Internet Setting and then the
Zone Maps and the Domains for any mention of rogue sites...something like this but under all Software sections and continue with Microsoft>Windows> Current Versions>Internet Settings ...or like one of these..

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\

Anything listed such as,, and are such are safe, but something like or is not acceptable. Remove the rogue sites.

A nifty tool for BHO and toolbar removal is the toolbar cop.

A nifty tool for BHO removal is the BHO Demon..

The CWShredder is old, limited and out-dated and yet still one of the most effective against CWS. Give this a try.

In addition to the recommended freeware Ewido and the Ad-Aware previously mentioned, I would suggest these freeware as well...

After the clean-up, a run with a file/reg cleaner is recommended. Try the freeware CCleaner (no Yahoo Toolbar and no extra language pack edition).....

    Best regards.

Hi!This was a false positives (= wrong detection) by the ZA Antispyware but it was resolved by an update. If cannot update ZA antispyware than you can experience this problem...Go to the ZA tray icon --> right click on it --> select "about" --> push the " copy to clipboard" and paste it here in a new message. So, I will be able to see if your spyware signature is updated.Cheers,Fax
