I'm new to the forums, so forgive me if This is in the wrong place. Recently I have installed Zone Alarm Security Suite, before that I used the firewall independently. I have also used various other programs, but have never had this issue.
I like to use the program mIRC to communicate with people. I know there are risks associated with the program, but I consider the program itself to be safe. I downloaded the program from a site that I trust and is safe according to McAfee Site Advisor. However, once I installed ZA, It detects what it calls: Not-a-virus:Client-IRC.Win32.mIRC.617. I am thinking that this is a false positive because of the potential risks, and because it acts as a server. I also have a similar issue with GameSpy Arcade, which allows users to connect with other gamers around the world. It conciders it as a Trojan. Can anyone advise me here?
